Who is behind the PLM portal?

Responsible is Ulrich Sendler, from the beginning of the eighties active as journalist, analyst, book author and consultant in the area of engineering IT.

What's the pupose of the PLM portal?

To organise a vendor-independent, neutral platform, which adresses all questions around industrial product creation and the use of IT-tools for it. A platform to provide knowledge and information that's necessary and helpful in this context.

Who is sponsoring the PLM portal?

Those of the PLM Community, who benefit directly, also economicly. Mainly the providers of software and service for engineering, who are linked with the portal through a company profile.

Do I have to register at the PLM portal?

No. All information, all contacts at the PLM portal are free for everybody. Registration is only necessary for actively taking part at the PLMforum. Everything else is free and only thought to help linking and networking within the community.

Who provides information for the PLM portal?

Everybody can. Information is checked by the editor of the portal for being vendor-independent and neutral. Marketing and advertising is limited to the profiles of companies. If editoring in the category of background articles is done under contract of vendors or service providers, it is clearly marked.

For whom the PLM portal is interesting?

For everybody, who is involved in PLM-strategies and/or realizing such strategies. To capture information or to network and exchange experiences with others who maybe already found a solution or some idea for it.
