For the 5th time and not just since Sars-CoV-2: Eplan Virtual Fair
While this year almost all trade fairs have been cancelled, not only in Germany, virtual exhibitions are shooting out of the ground. Conferences and major events, if they take place at all, are going digital. Eplan can already draw on a wealth of experience and good results. Last year, around 1,400 participants from 73 countries took part. For 16 hours there will be a full programme in 2020. The global "fair on the net" enjoys a constantly growing number of visitors from all countries of the world. From 6.00 to 22.00 h (CEST), there will be live broadcasting, presentations and chatting. The concept of the Eplan Virtual Fair has been further refined: numerous country pavilions have been integrated, where live talks of regional teams - for example Spain, France, China and the USA - will also take place. Users are given a deep insight into the software in live demos.
Experts will be giving the latest tips and tricks for day-to-day engineering work - for example on digitalizing engineering tasks with Eplan Preplanning or on cabling machines and equipment with the aid of the digital twin. Consultants from the solution provider pass on their consulting knowledge to visitors in tutorials and webcasts. Keynotes from customers such as Magtronics/Japan, Systems Engineering/Denmark and A&E Engineering/USA are among the practical trade fair highlights. Interested parties will gain valuable insights into very concrete "best practices" in engineering.
Leadership Talks with Management Board
Strategic topics are on the agenda of the Leadership Talks with the CEO and the Executive Board team, which are being held for the first time:
- Data consistency and quality as a decisive success factor
- Increase productivity with services
- The integrated value chain in switch cabinet construction
All in all, visitors can expect an interesting mix of topics. The integration of configuration for automated engineering, cloud-based solutions in the industrial automation ecosystem or the implementation of complete digitalization are the topics of numerous live presentations.
Years before the pandemic, Eplan implemented the Virtual Fair format and integrated it firmly into its calendar of events. Gabriele Geiger, Marketing Manager at Eplan, explains the background and shares her experiences with the virtual live format with the editors of the Eplan Blog. The interview is online at: https://www.eplan.blog/virtualfair. There you can also register free of charge.
