Teamcenter The Only PLM System Designed As AWS Cloud Partner

Munich, September 18, 2018 - At the AWS Transformation Day event in Munich, Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched its new AWS Industrial Software Competency Program. Siemens PLM Software, with its Teamcenter portfolio of solutions, achieved as the only PLM solution status as a partner in the program after rigorous AWS technical validation, and came through with flying colors (read press release).

As part of this designation, Teamcenter cloud solutions satisfied the technical validation that includes AWS’ “Well Architected Framework” checklist. From a customer perspective, this means customers can be confident that Teamcenter will meet, or even exceed, the same performance and security standards on the cloud as on-premise deployment. Teamcenter customers can also take advantage of AWS cloud services. Due to the early focus and high investments into cloud technology AWS is the by far leading vendor of high scalable solutions, now enhancing activities in industry all around IoT.
